Throughout his Hollywood career, Vic Mizzy's musical talent was featured in a variety of Hollywood productions. Mizzy began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Esther Williams musical "Easy to Love" (1953), the Barbara Stanwyck suspenseful adaptation "The Night Walker" (1965) and the comedy "A Very Special Favor" (1965) with Rock Hudson. His music also appeared in the comedy "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" (1966) with Don Knotts, the adventure "The Perils of Pauline" (1967) with Pat Boone and "The Reluctant Astronaut" (1967) with Don Knotts. In the sixties, Mizzy's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the comedy adaptation "The Spirit Is Willing" (1967) with Sid Caesar, "Did You Hear the One About the Traveling Saleslady?" (1968) with Phyllis Diller and "The Shakiest Gun in the West" (1968). His work was also in the Don Knotts comedy "The Love God?" (1969). Mizzy's music was also featured in "Son-In-Law" (1993), the Zhang Ziyi dramatic adaptation "Memoirs of a Geisha" (2005) and the comedy "Witless Protection" (2008) with Larry the Cable Guy. His music was also featured in the Eric Bana crime thriller "Deliver Us From Evil" (2014). Mizzy was most recently credited in the documentary "The Wrecking Crew" (2015) with Lou Adler. Mizzy passed away in October 2009 at the age of 87.
